Machame Trek with Full Moon Summit
Your ascent to the peak at Summit day will usually start at midnight. After your breakfast you will prepare for your summit attempt to reach Uhuru peak at sunrise. In the dark night you will need your (head)torch to find your way. However during this Full Moon Summit you can leave your torch behind as the full moon will light up the glittering glaciers resulting in incredible views. Altogether climbing and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro is an extraordinary experience and the Full Moon Summit will only add to the journey.
