Description
Tarangire is famous for its huge herds of Elephants and Baobab Trees. Throughout the dry season you can expect to see large herds of thousands of Zebra, Wildebeest, and Cape Buffalo who trek hundreds of kilometers to drink at the Tarangire River.
Serengeti National Park , meaning ‘endless plains’ is one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. This is home to the annual migration of more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle following the rains undertaking their long journey to new grazing grounds.
Ngorongoro Crater a UNESCO world heritage site and considered one of the natural wonders of the world is a spectacular setting and contains an abundance of wildlife with over 20,000 large animals including Tanzania’s remaining critically endangered black rhino.
Lake Natron is an almost surreal soda lake, set at an altitude of 610m, below the Rift Valley escarpment, which offers incredible bird and game viewing. Natron is the only breeding ground for East Africa’s millions of flamingos, which usually congregate to breed here between August and October.
